Procore Implementation Specialist

Location: Kansas City, MO

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite 5 days/week in office

  • Pay Rate: $40.00 $65.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

The Technology and Innovation Consultant will provide development and deployment of advanced processes, tools, and technology to drive the efficient delivery of projects. The Technology and Innovation Consultant will partner with project teams, project managers, business line managers, and division management throughout the evaluation of market and business trends, problem identification, solution creation, and implementation phases while adhering to budget constraints, design factors, and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project teams to document business process and identify ways to improve execution of projects and services to improve workflow and efficiencies.
  • Present proposed project execution solutions (including software, hardware, code writing, automated processes, etc.).
  • Responsible for executing proof of concept activities, including detailed savings, benefits, and automated process improvements.
  • Implement technology solutions for the successful adoption.
  • Provide technology support to teams and processes to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Evaluate existing processes and technology tools, and deploy new tools to improve efficiency and workflow improvements on client projects.
  • Research and implement new technology and develop innovative approaches to our services and client deliverables.
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences to present emerging trends, markets, and technologies to leadership.
  • Develop technologically innovative products, solutions, and services to create new revenue streams and improve project profit margins.
  • Assist in the development of business cases for large investments and initiatives to enter into a partnership. Assist in the presentation and launch of a new venture through the Launch program.
  • Develop and maintain external vendor relationships and evaluate integration of their solution(s) into business processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT and Strategic Initiatives, to build holistic and cohesive solutions for clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in standard engineering techniques and procedures for project and program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills with internal and external audiences of various sizes.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CAD platforms, GIS, analysis programs, and data acquisition platforms.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment, and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in advanced learning of new concepts and applying knowledge to deliverables.
  • Minimum 1 year of Procore experience required.
  • Experience supporting clients with Procore software.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their workflows and implement that in the system.
  • Background in project controls (software-side implementation analyst).
  • Configuring and monitoring Procore to be used by project managers on a program; setting up Procore for managers to use.
  • Experience with cost and scheduling, and reporting coming out of Procore.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge in computer logic and data analytics preferred.
  • P6 Primavera experience relevant (considered if Procore experience not available).

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related degree from an accredited program and 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry; OR
  • Associate Degree and 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
  • Engineers in Training (EIT) Certification Preferred.

Required Experience

  • 3 years of relevant experience (with Bachelor's Degree), or 5 years (with Associate Degree), or 7 years (with High School Diploma/GED), preferably in the consulting industry.
  • Minimum 1 year of Procore experience required.
  • Experience in engineering companies within the construction space preferred.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Kansas City, MO in office 5 days per week.
  • No expectation for overtime.
  • Will be assigned to a maximum of 2 projects; most likely assigned to one program (3 4 years in scope).
  • Program teams are anywhere from 40 50 people; project teams approximately 20 30 people.
  • Role is primarily behind-the-scenes configuring and monitoring Procore; candidate will work alongside a teammate when engaging with clients not one-on-one client-facing.

  • Interview process: 30-minute virtual interview followed by a 1-hour onsite panel interview.
  • No issues with non-compete for this role.
