Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Procurement Administrator in Green Bay to support suppliers who provide contracted services or products to Schneider. The Procurement Administrator is responsible for invoice reconciliation, inventory management, process integration and other administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer fleet toll programs for company drivers and owner-operators, reconciling and paying invoices on time.
  • Manage fleet toll transponder inventory and distribute in line with fleet policy.
  • Reconcile and pay rental vehicle toll invoices, resolving discrepancies with suppliers, accounts payable and internal teams.
  • Monitor and order mail and print supplies while also guiding associates through the ordering process.
  • Analyze ways to cut costs and improve productivity on contracted products and services.
  • Negotiate purchases for products and services that meet company needs and follow department purchasing guidelines.
  • Work with suppliers and associates to solve issues with supplier-provided equipment or software.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports on business and financial activity.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Associate degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science or a related field.
  • Able to travel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to be on-call and work nights and weekends as needed.
