Procurement Agent

LHH is partnering with a client in Greensboro searching for a Procurement Agent! This role will support the company's purchasing and supply chain teams. This position will be onsite M-F 8-5, permanent with full benefits paying $60-65k depending on experience. 3-5 years of procurement/purchasing experience required to be eligible for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Create PO's

• Source new suppliers and select based on lead time, cost, and service level

• Communicate with purchasing, supply chain, and logistics teams to obtain material for production

• Track inventory and forecast purchasing needs

• Communicate with suppliers regularly to receive tracking updates and ensure there are no shipping and/or delivery delays

• Manage supplier service levels and identify any areas for improvement

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of purchasing/procurement experience required to be eligible for this role

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, etc. preferred

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP

• Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks

• Global company experience a plus
