About this position: Procurement Analyst        Location - Aberdeen, MD

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Process procurement requests for goods, services, materials, and program support requirements.

·         Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, pricing, availability, and delivery information.

·         Prepare procurement packages, funding summaries, quote documentation, and attachments.

·         Support purchase order creation after Government authorization.

·         Track procurement actions from request through award, delivery, invoice closeout, and reconciliation.

·         Prepare and support budget reports, funding summaries, financial reports, and program reports.

·         Track available funding, obligated funding, commitments, disbursements, and unobligated balances.

·         Support reconciliation of financial records, invoices, procurement documentation, and budget data.

·         Develop spreadsheets, pivot tables, trackers, and financial reporting tools.

·         Support CDRL-related financial inputs, contract reports, and procurement status updates.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

·         Education Requirements: Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree.

·         Active US Government issued Secret clearance.

·         Level of Experience Requirements: Five or more years of procurement, budget analysis, financial tracking, logistics, program analysis, or Government contract support.

·         Active Secret clearance required at time of hire.

·         Experience preparing procurement packages, quote documentation, funding summaries, and invoice closeout documentation.

·         Experience supporting budget reporting, funding reconciliation, cost tracking, or financial reporting.

·         Ability to track obligations, commitments, disbursements, and available funding.

·         Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial tracking tools.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

·         Procurement processing, vendor coordination, and purchase order support.

·         Budget execution, financial reporting, funding reconciliation, and cost tracking.

·         Records analysis, expense control, forecasting, and report writing.

·         Ability to manage multiple procurement and reporting actions.

·         Attention to detail and ability to maintain audit-ready records.

·         Knowledge of Government contract support environments and approval routing.

Preferred

·         Experience supporting DoD or Army programs.

·         Experience with GFEBS, CCaRS, COGNOS, Costpoint, Deltek, or similar systems.

·         Experience preparing or supporting CDRL submissions.

·         Experience with budget execution, funds control, financial reconciliation, and audit support.

·         Prior experience at Aberdeen Proving Ground or supporting Army C5ISR or PEO mission areas.

Supervisory Responsibilities

·         This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Physical Setting: On-site Government contract office and facility environment.

Schedule and Flexibility: Monday through Friday, full-time.

Other Pertinent Work Details: Active Secret clearance is required.

 

Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
