We are seeking an experienced Program / Project Manager to support contract administration activities within the GDOT Procurement Department. This role will oversee and coordinate departmental contract management processes in collaboration with internal staff members, ensuring timely processing, compliance, renewals, and tracking of contract activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, procurement or contract administration experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate contract administration activities for departmental projects and procurement operations
Monitor contract lifecycle activities including renewals, amendments, expirations, and compliance requirements
Review and process routine contract-related tasks and documentation
Track upcoming contract end dates and ensure timely actions are taken
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and procurement staff to support ongoing contract operations
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation within internal systems
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, tracking, documentation, and communication
Learn and adapt to agency procurement and contract management systems
Support process improvements and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
Experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Contract Administration
Procurement experience is highly preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Experience reviewing contracts, amendments, and administrative documentation
Ability to quickly learn internal systems and processes
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with onsite availability as needed
Experience working with government agencies or public sector procurement
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management processes
Experience supporting procurement operations or administrative project coordination
