Procurement Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC – SouthPark area
Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000

A growing, multi-location healthcare organization in Charlotte is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support and strengthen its purchasing operations. This newly focused position will initially concentrate on hands-on purchasing, purchase orders, vendor coordination, and process standardization, with opportunities to support cost-saving and strategic sourcing initiatives.
The Procurement Analyst will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Accounts Payable, Compliance, practice administrators, and vendors across multiple clinical locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including creating, reviewing, tracking, and reconciling purchase orders
- Work with practice administrators and Operations to understand purchasing needs across multiple locations
- Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, quotes, orders, deliveries, discrepancies, and service concerns
- Review purchasing activity and vendor information for accuracy, compliance, and overall value
- Support vendor selection, negotiation, onboarding, and performance monitoring
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing through vendor relationships and group purchasing agreements
- Maintain accurate vendor records, pricing information, contracts, and purchasing documentation
- Assist with tracking contract renewals, pricing changes, and key terms
- Partner with Accounts Payable and Finance to resolve invoice and purchasing discrepancies
- Monitor purchasing and inventory trends to identify shortages, excess spending, or inefficiencies
- Help develop, document, and standardize procurement procedures across the organization
- Support purchasing-system maintenance, including adding users and assisting internal teams
- Recommend process improvements and speak up when current procedures are not working effectively
- Maintain confidentiality of vendor pricing, contracts, and financial information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
- At least two years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, finance, or a related role preferred
- Experience supporting a multi-location organization strongly preferred
- Healthcare purchasing experience is highly valued
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Experience with purchase orders, vendor management, receiving, and invoice reconciliation
- Familiarity with procurement, inventory, ERP, or accounting systems preferred
- Ability to analyze purchasing information, recognize discrepancies, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Schedule and Location
This is a hybrid position based in the SouthPark area of Charlotte. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with some flexibility.
Employees currently work in the office Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Monday and Friday. Travel between local practice locations is minimal.
