MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages and optimizes software licenses by developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy, understanding various licensing models and contract terms to minimize costs and ensure compliance.
  • Conducts regular software license audits, identifies and addresses compliance gaps, and utilizes Software Asset Management (SAM) tools to track usage and deployments for accurate inventory.
  • Negotiates directly with software vendors, building and maintaining relationships, handling license agreements, renewals, and resolving any licensing issues that arise.
  • Develops and maintains internal policies and procedures related to software licensing and usage, ensuring organizational alignment with best practices.
  • Provides essential guidance and mentorship, offering training to stakeholders on compliance, and directing subordinate staff in license management activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience with 2+ years of position relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of software licensing models, contract terms, and industry best practices.
  • Within 6 months must be able to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification, which includes any of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, and SSCP.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with software asset management (SAM) tools.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to software licensing.
  • International Association of IT Asset Management (IAITAM) Software Asset Management Certification, Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), or similar certification.
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
