This position primarily supports Procurement leadership by delivering actionable insights derived from financial, sourcing, and operational data-enabling data-driven decisions that strengthen sourcing strategies, supplier performance, supplier management, contract management, and spend optimization.

The analyst will help optimize supplier management processes and will design, develop, and maintain advanced analytical tools and dashboards that consolidate data from multiple enterprise systems (including but not limited to Oracle, Contract Management System, Hyperion, BI platforms, and others) to monitor key procurement KPIs, vendor metrics, and cost-saving initiatives. Additionally, this role contributes to strategic planning by applying financial modeling, AI-based forecasting, and scenario analysis to uncover opportunities for efficiency gains and value creation within procurement processes, while also supporting select Supply Chain optimization efforts as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain and Procurement Performance Support

• Carry out and manage automation of supplier management processes. • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify data-driven efficiency improvements. • Deliver monthly and quarterly analytics on procurement spend, supplier KPIs, and supply chain performance for leadership review. • Utilize key metrics to analyze purchasing trends, cost variances, and material utilization to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvement strategies. • Develop and maintain interactive BI dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for transparent, cross-functional visibility into sourcing and production metrics. • Support category management and contract negotiations through total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling and supplier risk analysis. • Track and validate cost-saving initiatives against financial and operational outcomes.

Business Intelligence and Data Analysis

• Integrate and analyze large datasets from ERP and supply chain systems to support sourcing, pricing, and supplier performance decisions. • Apply AI, machine learning, and statistical modeling to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and assess supplier reliability. • Partner with IT and business units to enhance data quality, streamline reporting, and advance digital procurement capabilities. • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation through data pipelines and AI-driven analytics tools.

Strategic and Financial Planning

• Conduct cost-benefit and scenario analyses to support strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier diversification, and logistics optimization. • Collaborate with FP&A to align procurement metrics with financial performance and corporate objectives. • Prepare executive-level presentations summarizing key findings, business cases, and strategic recommendations. • Support development of annual operating and long-range plans related to procurement and supply chain expenditures.

KEYS TO SUCCESS

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Hyperion, or equivalent tools. • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and data warehousing concepts. • Experience applying AI and predictive analytics to enhance forecasting, cost modeling, and supplier risk management. • Excellent communication skills-able to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations. • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to influence and lead process improvement initiatives across departments. • Comfortable working with ambiguity and developing innovative analytical approaches to operational challenges.
