Job Description
Position Overview
The responsibilities of the Procurement Analyst include aggregating and performing spend analysis and reporting, overseeing warehouse planning, issuing bids, and managing relationships with key suppliers and internal departments, while driving towards cost reduction and improved fleet availability. The role will report to the Operations Procurement Senior Manager. This position works from Invenergy's office in downtown Chicago.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement reporting, analytics, and systemized procurement processes that support fleet availability, vendor performance, third party spend tracking, supply chain risks, cost reduction opportunities, and Operations Procurement strategy.
Prepare, administer, execute and evaluate formal and informal bids, RFQs, and RFPs; support commercial negotiations; and perform continuous contract management and enforcement within assigned scope.
Own and maintain fleet reporting, including regular inventory reviews, supplier reporting, and supplier documentation tracking.
Support centralized inventory reporting and planning, including monthly inventory reporting, quarterly plan reviews, and continuous improvement of planning logic, processes, and purchasing decisions.
Day-to-day procurement support for assigned categories, including dispute escalation and supplier relationship management.
Evaluate vendors, products, and services against internal needs to identify and build vendor partnerships within assigned categories.
Conduct internal studies and spend analyses alongside pricing and market trend reviews to assist in developing company strategy and initiatives for products, services, and procurement categories.
Work with internal subject matter experts, including Legal, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders, to implement and execute company strategy and procurement processes.
Engage in cross-department training as needed and support implementation of procurement processes across the organization.

Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline
1+ years’ experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, or a related field, strongly preferred. An MBA can be considered as substitute for comparable work experience.
Strong ability to analyze data and interpret statistics
Experience in project management and strategic problem solving.
Proven and influential verbal and written communicator
Excellent organizational and administrative skills including exceptional attention to detail
Base Pay
$70,000 - $88,000 USD Annual
Bonus: 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
