We are The Fountain Group, a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Procurement Analyst for a prominent client of ours.  This position is based in Frisco, TX. Details for the position are as follows:

 

Job Description:

  • Pay: $30–$35/hr to start
  • 8-month assignment with possibility for extension based on performance and budget
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, onsite

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collected, organized, and analyzed procurement-related data, including spend, supplier, and specification information, to support sourcing and category management decisions.
  • Assisted in identifying cost-saving opportunities by reviewing spend data, comparing supplier pricing, and supporting sourcing activities such as RFX preparation and analysis.
  • Maintained and updated procurement reports, dashboards, and sourcing documentation while coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent related experience
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience with digital procurement and analytics tools such as Ariba, Snowflake, Beeline, SAP, IBM Cognos, Celonis, and Tableau/Power BI
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work across multiple departments and interpret business needs
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; English proficiency required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Commitment to safety standards and continuous process improvement
