Pavement Maintenance Group is seeking a Procurement & Inventory Manager at our corporate headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to shape how our company sources products, manages inventory, and works with suppliers.With 31 locations and eight manufacturing facilities, PMG needs a hands-on leader who can ensure the right products are available at the right time and at the best overall value. This role combines strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation with inventory management, ERP development, data analysis, and partnership with regional teams.What You'll DoLead procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship initiatives across PMG's regions and business unitsNegotiate pricing, payment terms, allocation, rebates, and purchasing agreementsLeverage company-wide spend through supplier consolidation and product standardizationLead NetSuite purchasing setup, including safety stock, lead times, minimum order quantities, demand forecasts, and approval workflowsImprove inventory availability, accuracy, turns, and investment while reducing excess stock and carrying costsSupport cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and reconciliationsMaintain accurate supplier, item, pricing, inventory, and Bill of Materials dataAnalyze spend, supplier performance, and inventory trends to identify savings, risks, and improvementsDevelop reports, KPIs, procedures, documentation, and training materialsPartner with Finance, Operations, Sales, suppliers, and regional leadersWhat We're Looking ForFive or more years of progressive procurement, purchasing, inventory, supply chain, materials, or related experienceExperience with both supplier-facing procurement and operational inventory managementDemonstrated vendor negotiation and measurable improvements in cost, terms, supplier performance, inventory, availability, or working capitalExperience improving purchasing processes, supplier programs, inventory practices, or ERP workflowsStrong ERP experience; NetSuite is ideal, while Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Epicor, or comparable systems may transfer wellKnowledge of replenishment, forecasting, safety stock, lead times, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory optimizationAdvanced Excel and data-analysis skillsManufacturing, industrial distribution, building materials, chemicals, construction materials, or comparable experience strongly preferred; multi-site experience is a plusBachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredCollaborative, self-directed approach and willingness to travel periodicallyWhy Join PMG?Build scalable procurement, inventory, supplier, and ERP processesInfluence cost, cash flow, product availability, and supplier performanceGain broad ownership across sourcing, negotiations, inventory, systems, analytics, and process improvement
