Department Campus Dining - Procurement/Storeroom - 170340 Primary Purpose of Position

Receive and organize delivered stock for assigned Campus Dining Unit.

Data entry and reporting in FSS - specifically for invoices, production, ordering, transfers, and inventory.

Assisting assigned unit with any additional assigned tasks after completing primary duties.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.

License/Certification Required Essential Job Functions

Program Knowledge/ Records Administration - Maintain a teachable attitude - constantly learn and gain new knowledge of assigned processes. Learn the routines of records administration and execute these procedures the same way every time. Enter data and verify records in inventory control software. Use critical reasoning to solve out-of-the-box problems with database management and reporting. Serves as a resource to others.

Mathematics - Maintain and verify computer records for multiple connected processes. Assist the supervisor in troubleshooting errors that occur with established procedures. Work must be completed accurately - double and triple check to ensure no mistakes are made.

Customer Service - Serve all customers - internal and external - promptly with politeness and a good attitude. Maintain knowledge of the products in your assigned area; be able to answer questions and assist customers as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

Preferred Qualifications Required Functional Competencies to Successfully Perform Job Duties.

Program Knowledge/Record Administration: Performs a variety of recurring tasks and functions related to assigned processes and procedures. Manages and verifies files, records, and inventory. Compiles and organizes information from different sources to develop reports and data. Serves as resource to others.

Mathematics: Applies working knowledge of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Working knowledge in receiving and disbursing cash, inventory/merchandise. Maintains, verifies, and coordinates related records from a variety of sources. Notifies supervisor of errors or problems with processes and procedures.

Mon - Fri, 6:00am - 3:00pm. Employees may be required to work some flex hours to support the needs of the business and/or for special campus events. Schedules will be adjusted as needed to provide coverage in these cases.
