Aspire Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a leading contract manufacturer specializing in softgel vitamins and pharmaceutical products. We are committed to innovation, quality, and excellence in the pharmaceutical industry, continuously seeking talented professionals to join our dynamic team.

Who You Are:

The Procurement Buyer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, excipients, packaging components, equipment, and services required for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role combines transactional purchasing with strategic sourcing and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted supply, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency. The Procurement Buyer works closely with cross-functional teams — including Planning, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Production — to support production schedules, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:
  • Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, excipients, packaging components, equipment, and services in compliance with cGMP, FDA, and company quality standards.
  • Manage the full procurement cycle from request to purchase order issuance, delivery follow-up, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and implement improvement plans where necessary.
  • Participate in supplier selection, qualification, and approval processes in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams.
  • Lead price negotiations and contract discussions to secure competitive terms while ensuring quality and supply reliability.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, lead times, and supplier capabilities to identify cost reduction and risk mitigation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Production and Planning to forecast material requirements and ensure on-time availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Support new product development by sourcing new materials, packaging components, and technologies.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal SOPs, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, certificates of analysis, and contracts in ERP or procurement systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement processes, supplier performance, and overall supply chain efficiency.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proven negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP or MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:

Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications
