Job Title:   Procurement Category Manager 5
Location:  Redmond , WA
Salary Range:  $60/hr to $72/hr on W2 

Introduction

The primary function of this role is to manage end-to-end procurement execution for datacenter mechanical equipment. This includes technical submittals, supplier coordination, change orders, and contract execution. The role operates as a Procurement POC (Point of Contact) for assigned projects, ensuring alignment between engineering, suppliers, cost teams, and internal stakeholders while maintaining schedule, quality, and contractual compliance across multiple active builds.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10 years finance-related experience required.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals, and other technical data.
  • Experience in procurement within the datacenter industry.
  • Experience managing technical document lifecycle and procurement tracking tools.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Bluebeam and P6 if they have the P6 experience.
  • Experience in procurement within the datacenter industry.
  • Experience managing technical document lifecycle and procurement tracking tools.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Own and track procurement deliverables across multiple datacenter projects.
  • Act as primary interface between suppliers, engineers, construction teams, and internal procurement stakeholders.
  • Manage technical document lifecycle, including submittal creation and review cycles.
  • Prepare and execute Change Orders, CORs, and PCO requests.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to engineering delays, stakeholder delays, and supplier quality.
  • Maintain and share tracking tools to improve visibility of project status and deliverables.
