Purpose of the role
To partner with key stakeholders and forums to oversee Procurement service delivery, provide advice and develop procurement strategy to meet both the needs of the business and Procurement.

Join Barclays as a Procurement Client Lead, a Vice President role where your expertise will help business clients access a seamless, high-quality procurement experience. In this role, you will work collaboratively with delivery teams across Procurement to shape and optimise the third-party supply base, helping to reduce risk, unlock value, and improve efficiency. You will also partner with the business to support strategic sourcing priorities and enhance buying channels that enable smarter, more effective decision-making. We are looking for someone who can bring experience in financial services or procurement, considerable project management capability, and the ability to use data and insight to influence strategic planning. You will be able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including Senior Executive audiences, while using your commercial judgement, communication skills, and commitment to high-quality delivery to make a meaningful impact.
To be successful in your role as Procurement Client Lead it would be an advantage to have:
• Financial Services/Procurement experience
• Project Manager experience
• The ability to use data points and data matrix to influence and drive strategic planning
• Strategic stakeholder engagement experience
• Internal stakeholder engagement up to Senior Executive level

• Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to navigate multi-faceted commercial engagements with precision and strategic insight
• Excel in planning and executing deliverables on time and to a consistently high standard
