IT Procurement Consultant – Indirect Procurement
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Onsite weekly (Tuesday + as needed); Remote (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri)
12 + month contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories
  • Lead RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support contract development and execution (NDAs, SaaS, software licensing, professional services agreements)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to identify improvement opportunities and enhance service delivery
  • Conduct spend analysis, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation
  • Manage sourcing activities, supplier interactions, and ad hoc procurement requests
  • Utilize SAP Ariba P2P system to review requests and issue purchase orders
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in indirect procurement / strategic sourcing
  • Hands-on experience with RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes
  • Mandatory experience with SAP Ariba (P2P system)
  • Experience in facilities management, IT, or technology procurement
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in indirect sourcing/procurement
  • Experience in contract negotiation and drafting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Experience working in large, cross-functional, global teams
