We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator job in Burlington, NC! This is a fully on-site role. In this role you will support procurement, inventory, and vendor management activities while helping ensure the timely and accurate movement of products throughout the supply chain. This role works closely with purchasing, operations, accounting, transportation, and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and support vendor relationships. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to procurement leadership.
Assist with supply chain systems and process support.
Support vendor and supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing and agreements.
Coordinate delivery schedule changes and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
Investigate and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies with the accounting team.
Review and confirm purchase orders for pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
Work with suppliers to resolve product quality and service-related issues.
Create and manage purchase orders in purchasing and inventory management systems.
Process vendor orders accurately within ERP and inventory management platforms.
Reconcile inbound purchase orders and submit documentation for payment processing.
Coordinate product returns, credits, and discrepancy resolutions with vendors.
Maintain vendor records and product information within company systems.
Update inventory data, product pricing, and item records.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain and warehouse operations.
Provide cross-functional support and backup coverage for supply chain administrative functions.
Coordinate direct shipments of products and supplies to operating locations as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, procurement, or operations support.
Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
