JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordinating procurement needs for the electrical and mechanical installation of the field team to ensure on time delivery of equipment and materials for project locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reviews and processes material requests from field team.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, and other requests from field team.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
• Manage and monitor purchase orders, working in conjunction with purchasing team.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
• Monitor each project budget and alert team of any overages.
• Follow proper material ordering procedures.
• Maintain documentation and files according to procedures.
• Receive packing slips against purchase orders and invoices in QuickBooks.
• Anticipate and resolve problems as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Requires being able to respond to problem situations in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in dynamic and changing environments.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years in a related position
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office technology
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to obtain facility security clearance as needed.
