Procurement Coordinator | Interior Design Firm
Working Style: Hybrid working opportunity after training

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our client's established luxury design team, known for creating extraordinary homes and delivering an unparalleled client experience. This is an opportunity to become a key partner in the design process, collaborating with designers, vendors, receivers, and logistics teams to ensure every detail is flawlessly executed.

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the full procurement lifecycle for all FF&E and materials purchased on behalf of their clients. This role serves as the central point of coordination between the design team, vendors, receivers, accounting, and logistics partners, ensuring that every order is accurate, tracked, and delivered to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in the luxury interior design ecosystem. They bring calm authority to a fast-moving environment, follow through without being asked twice, and take pride in operational excellence to deliver the highest-caliber client experience.

Key Impact Areas:

  • Vendor Order Confirmation & Acknowledgment
  • Order Tracking & Expediting
  • Vendor & Trade Relationship Management
  • Logistics & Receiving Coordination
  • Accounts Payable Management
  • Issue Resolution

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or design operations experience, ideally within high-end residential interior design or a related luxury project-based industry.
  • Familiarity with the luxury trade ecosystem: vendors, workrooms, fabricators, freight carriers, and receiving warehouses.
  • Experience managing FF&E order lifecycles from post-PO confirmation through delivery and issue resolution.
  • Background in accounts payable is a plus.
  • Proficiency in design management platforms required — comfort with order tracking, expediting reports, and procurement documentation. Experience in Houzz Pro is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Experience with Asana or other task management systems required.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software platforms and operational systems quickly.
