Procurement Manager
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 8: 00 AM –5: 00 PM
Location: Cincinnati, OH


trak group is partnering with a well-established local organization to fill a Procurement Manager role on a direct-hire basis. This position offers comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a mission-driven team.



Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day procurement activities and vendor contracts in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Lead public solicitations, RFPs, invitations to bid, and cooperative purchasing agreements from preparation through award
  • Analyze procurement needs and recommend appropriate methods and solutions to internal departments
  • Monitor bid and contract expiration dates to ensure continuity of services
  • Negotiate contract prices, terms, and conditions to maximize value
  • Track contractor performance against established quality standards
  • Develop and maintain vendor outreach strategies to expand and diversify the supplier base
  • Oversee invoice dispute resolution
  • Create and distribute procurement reports and KPIs to support planning and continuous improvement
  • Regularly review and update procurement policies, SOPs, and forms
  • Support and develop a direct report
  • Coordinate and host vendor outreach and onboarding events

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6+ years of procurement and contract compliance experience, with at least 2 years in a governmental or public sector setting
  • Working knowledge of governmental purchasing principles and regulatory compliance preferred
  • Experience supervising staff and overseeing solicitations and contracts
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
