## Position Description Procurement Manager

  • Contingent Pipeline Opportunity - Were building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.

Location: Doral, FL

## Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full procurement lifecycle from planning through contract closeout.
  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies aligned with program needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify qualified vendors and sourcing options.
  • Lead vendor negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS requirements.
  • Perform cost analysis and support budgeting decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with project timelines.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and support audit readiness.
  • Monitor vendor performance and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure procurement activities meet federal compliance and reporting standards.

## Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR 5 (five) years of equivalent experience in procurement management.
  • Experience managing procurement activities in a federal or DoD environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations.
  • Experience with contract management and vendor negotiations.
  • Experience conducting market research and cost analysis.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and compliance audits.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

## Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting complex or multi vendor programs.
  • Experience aligning procurement strategies with cost and performance goals.
  • Experience working with supply chain logistics in a regulated environment.
  • Experience supporting audit readiness and procurement reporting.

## Certifications

  • Required: None
  • Preferred: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
