Procurement Manager

Location: SeaTac, Washington (Onsite)

Role Overview

The Procurement Operations & Process Improvement Specialist will provide leadership and execution support for procurement operations during a period of organizational transformation. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and driving sustainable adoption of process improvements across the business. The individual will partner with Procurement leadership, Buyers, Accounts Payable, and business stakeholders to improve procurement performance and establish the department as a trusted Center of Excellence.

Primary Objectives

• Deliver measurable improvements in procurement effectiveness and operational performance.
• Increase Spend Under Purchase Order by identifying sources of spend leakage and executing remediation strategies.
• Reduce invoice and purchase order match exceptions by resolving root causes and improving related processes.
• Define and implement clear operating boundaries and workflows between Procurement Buyers and third-party support resources.
• Lead educational roadshows and develop training materials to establish Procurement as a strategic business partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day operational lead for key procurement improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate existing procurement workflows to identify and remedy inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain procurement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Analyze exception trends, identify systemic issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Build relationships across Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and business functions.
• Develop and deliver training content, job aids, and communication materials.
• Define, track, and report on key performance metrics and the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supply Chain, or Procurement Excellence.
• Demonstrated experience improving procurement compliance and operational performance.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives and developing SOPs, training materials, and operational documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, and the ability to drive change without direct authority.
• Experience in indirect procurement operations and supporting procurement shared services.
• Expertise in Procure-to-Pay and Accounts Payable processes.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
• Consulting or transformation program experience.
