Procurement Manager - Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a high volume of  direct and indirect purchase order expenditures
• Manage a small team of  purchasing professionals
• Ensure  compliance by approving purchase orders and reviewing purchasing terms as needed.
• Lead and/or assist RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract management efforts within the organization.
• Partnering with Engineering, Quality, Product Line and Operation depts to support new supplier qualifications for Tier 2, 3 and 4 suppliers 
• Monitor Supplier performance and implement corrective action as needed
• Lead recovery and resolution with purchasing team and suppliers for nonconforming material issues.
• Create and maintain purchasing procedures and SOP's to foster continuance improvement and operational excellence.
• Partner with executive management and strategic analyst(s) to act and stay current on market trends, global supply chain risks and organizational procurement strategies.
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
7+ years of direct sourcing/procurement experience in an industrial, manufacturing or engineered to order environment
Demonstrated success negotiating supplier agreements and driving measurable cost savings
Strong understanding of direct materials sourcing (metals, fabricated parts, assemblies, etc.)
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel; experience with sourcing tools a plus
Contracting and negotiation
Forecasting and planning
Advanced Excel/database use

Pay: $90,000.00 – $105,000.00/year (Based on experience)

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: 8am-5pm
