Business Services is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team beginning this Summer!

SUMMARY: The position of Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for carrying out daily procurement department activities; which encompasses purchasing, competitive bidding, PCard administration, and vendor management while also supporting the effective general operation of the financial services department. The position functions as the main contact for all district purchasing related questions, activities or concerns. This position ensures compliance with Federal, state, and local rules and regulations concerning the financial operations of the district; manages requests for proposals; and serves as the district's point-of-contact for vendors. This is a fast-paced office with diverse duties requiring a person able to manage their time and multi-task at a moment's notice. It requires prior experience with financial business systems.
