Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Scheduler to support large-scale industrial operations and capital projects. This role serves as the critical link between supply chain planning and project execution, ensuring materials, equipment, and services are delivered on schedule to support operations, maintenance activities, and project milestones.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing and maintaining procurement schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, along with a solid understanding of supply chain processes, procurement lifecycle management, and schedule risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated procurement schedules aligned with project and operational requirements
  • Identify, monitor, and manage procurement critical paths, including long-lead equipment and materials
  • Update and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to validate delivery dates and project requirements
  • Perform schedule forecasting and risk analysis to identify potential delays and mitigation strategies
  • Generate executive-level reporting including schedule performance metrics, S-curves, Earned Value Management (EVM), and variance analysis
  • Conduct scenario planning and "what-if" analyses to evaluate supply chain disruptions and schedule impacts
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement and supply chain efficiency
  • Assist with procurement planning for maintenance, turnaround, and capital project activities

Required Qualifications

  • Active TWIC Card
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of procurement-related experience
  • 3+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining project or procurement schedules
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of scheduling experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience supporting industrial, petrochemical, LNG, oil & gas, energy, refinery, or construction environments
  • SAP Materials Management (MM) experience
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification
  • Bachelor's degree
