Join our team as a Procurement Specialist 3 in the Lynchburg/LaCrosse area. This role is pivotal in leading and managing sourcing strategies within defined categories, engaging with senior stakeholders, and providing procurement advice to business areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Understanding of procurement and sourcing techniques and supply chain management
- Experience in construction procurement
- Experience in procurement or purchasing
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement category strategies
- Maintain knowledge of business drivers and their impact on business strategy
- Manage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget management
- Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Bluebeam and P6 software
- Experience in construction procurement
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement category strategies
- Maintain knowledge of business drivers and their impact on business strategy
- Manage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget management
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers
- Monitor compliance with sourcing processes and act as an internal consultant
