Description:

• Execute and manage complex, high-visibility and high-value IOTs, POs, and Subcontracts for materials, software, and services in support of domestic and international commercial, DoD, FAA, and FMS contracts
• Ensure strict compliance with Government (FAR, DFAR, AMS), Customer and company requirements? from R&D through low-rate initial production, production/deployment, sustainment, and program closeout
• Collaborate cross-functionally across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) including Program Management, Quality, Finance, Contracts, Global Trade and Legal
• Identify, evaluate, manage, and maintain strong strategic relationships with suppliers, focusing on quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Execute bid/proposal activities, PIAs/NDAs, and Teaming Agreements for new business and strategic pursuits
• Review and assist in the development of Subcontract Statements of Work (SSOW)
• Perform in-depth price analyses, conduct due diligence/comprehensive supplier assessments, proactively identify risks & opportunities?? including material shortages or supplier instability, and develop contingency plans
• Lead negotiations (price, schedule, terms/conditions)
• Manage supplier performance (cost, schedule and quality) against key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Support PO/Subcontract related invoice approvals, inquiries, and issues
• Meticulously reviews, interprets, and implements company policies, procedures, process instructions, and operational workflows with a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

• Prior Procurement experience
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master's Degree
• Experience in a similar contracts/procurement role with responsibility for sourcing, placing orders, price analysis, negotiations, PO documentation, supplier management, and compliance to company policies and procedures
• Experience with FAR, DFAR, and FAA AMS
• Experience with international requirements (including Import/Export regulations)
• Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams
• Experience with Statements of Work
• Experience with SAP
• Ability to prioritize compliance to policies and procedures
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
• Effective collaboration skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with little oversight
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
• Adapts well to change
