Procurement Specialist

Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience

Summary:

• Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM [Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM])

Responsibilities:

• Create and update purchase orders to support production.
• Track supplier deliveries and follow up on order status.
• Communicate delivery updates to internal teams.
• Support supplier communication for order confirmations and shipment tracking.
• Assist with resolving basic supplier issues (late deliveries, invoice discrepancies, etc.).
• Help manage schedule changes and adjust orders accordingly.
• Work with cross-functional teams (planning, engineering, quality) to support material availability.
• Identify simple process improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or business (preferred) or high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel).
• Experience utilizing an ERP system (Oracle Preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in procurement or supply chain management.
