Job Summary
  • Client employees at the Client location operate in a team environment in the digital electronic and component field of creating productive and reliable transportation.
  • Our Client facility includes highly sophisticated production processes that integrate advanced manufacturing technologies with precision assembly techniques.
  • Team members collaborate across engineering, production, and quality assurance functions to deliver innovative products that meet the evolving demands on the transportation industry.
How will you make a difference:
  • As a procurement specialist you will support the procurement process by placing and tracking purchasing orders, communicating with supplies, and helping to ensure materials are delivered on time to meet production needs..
What do we want to know about you:
  • Bachelors degree in supply chain, operations, or business (preferred) or high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
  • Experience utilizing and ERP system (Oracle Preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
What will your typical day look like:
  • Create and update purchase orders to support production.
  • Track supplier deliveries and follow up on order status.
  • Communicate delivery updates to internal teams.
  • Support supplier communication for order confirmations and shipment tracking.
  • Assist with resolving basic supplier issues (late deliveries, invoice discrepancies, etc.)
  • Help manage schedule changes and adjust orders accordingly.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (planning, engineering, quality) to support material availability.
  • Identify simple process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
