Sourcing and purchasing of low to medium complexity and medium criticality events for commodity materials, engineered equipment, subcontracts, and site services.
Participation in Deal Development and support in Estimating's efforts, including issuing Request for Information (RFI's) and providing indicative quotations to the Estimating team.
Develop sourcing strategies, supplier lists for assigned items
Interface with Engineering, Construction and Start-up to gather appropriate technical documents for the RFP and, once the RFP is received, to ensure bids that are received are technically compliant.
Interface with vendors & suppliers to issue RFPs and respond to inquiries to develop a comprehensive evaluation of the supplier's commercial offering.
Engage and maintain Supplier relationships on awarded contracts, communicate with key internal and external stakeholders on status updates, ensure the vendor is meeting their contractual obligations and maintain transparency on the purchase with the Project Management Team (PMT)
Support the analysis and execution of post-award change orders.
Procurement Specialist II is responsible for sourcing, bid conditioning, assuring technical compliance, commercially evaluating and awarding low to medium complexity procurement events associated with commodity materials, engineered equipment, subcontracts, and services.
Procurement Specialist II has the ability to negotiate low to medium contractual situations.
