This person will lead sourcing new suppliers of mainly mechanical parts Injection molding PressSheet Metal Raw materials in terms of Quality Cost Delivery and new cutting-edge technology for LGE current and future products.This role will be based in Farmers Branch TX working onsite 5 days a week.The Procurement Specialist will assist the team lead to achieve the team goals and will find Local suppliers for US and Mexico Production site.The team is looking for a candidate who is proactive eager to learn enjoys traveling to meet suppliers and is relentless to achieve the goals.RESPONSIBILITIESLead the sourcing of new local suppliers of Mechanical Parts Raw Materials in terms of Quality Cost Delivery competitivenessDevelop sourcing strategies to expand the sources of new suppliers for LGEs production site in US and MexicoDevelop and release RFQs to new suppliers reviews price quotes and deliver samples to HQ.Monitor and analyze procurement strategies within North American market. Benchmark pricing sourcing locations and supply chain structures to identify opportunities for optimization.Act as the primary point of contact for steel-related suppliers and market trends. Track raw material indices trade tariffs and industry shifts that impact mechanical part pricing.Introduce new technology companies to LGE HQ for LGE future products.Manage and resolve difficult procurementpurchasing issues with suppliers such as deliveries and shortages.Support discussions with HQ procurement team to resolve complex ProcurementPurchasingSCM issues in North America including areas such as price negotiation supply disruption new supplier registration etc.Provide on-site support to HQ employees traveling to suppliers on business trips.Conduct market research perform detailed analysis and create executive reports on major semi-conductor suppliers service providers automotive manufacturers and consumer electronics related to LGE business through various channels including media.
