Immediate opening for a Procurement Specialist in Redlands, CA who possesses: 
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check
  • Must complete the following assessments:
    1. Advanced Excel: Testing must include proficiency in complex formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), pivot tables, analytical data sets.
    2. 10-Key: Accuracy and KPH (Keystrokes per Hour) results
    3. Data entry: Accuracy and WPM (Words per Minute) metrics.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience of previous ordering and inventory control with large number of SKUs is preferred.

FULL DESCRIPTION: 
 
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
  • Prepare weekly inventory orders to vendors
  • Direct and oversee cycle counts
  • Monitor inventory levels, including minimum, maximum, and safety stocks, and make inventory adjustment recommendations to management.
  • Track supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of products meeting specified requirements.
  • Maintain records of supplier meetings to monitor compliance with company standards.
  • Balance the material demand/supply and minimize stockout risk by analyzing the current inventory, forecasting the future needs, and scheduling the suppliers' shipments accordingly
  • Offer solutions to help the company better manage costs on supplies and vendor services.
 
 
The selected candidate will also possess:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose emails with good grammar
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strang mathematical skills
  • Exceptional data entry skills (fast and accurate)
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Self-starter with strong self-initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
 
 
Salary Range: $33.80/hour
