Join our Worldwide Retail Grocery Delivery (WWRGD) Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist and help us revolutionize how we standardize, and optimize Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) across WWRGD! Are you passionate about supplier partnerships and procurement excellence? Do you thrive on simplifying complex processes and standardizing solutions across multiple business lines? As a Procurement Specialist on our team, you"ll be the single-threaded owner for FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) procurement. You"ll leverage data analytics to identify optimization opportunities, lead cross-functional sourcing events, and collaborate with teams across World Wide Retail Grocery and Development Team to aggregate demand and achieve enterprise-level buying leverage. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence procurement strategy, build strong supplier relationships, and implement innovative cost reduction initiatives that directly impact our growing retail footprint. Key job responsibilities Project Execution: Execute FF&E procurement plans per program direction, ensuring all purchase orders and equipment deliveries align with project timelines and budget constraints. On-Time, Under-Budget Delivery: Manage procurement operations to deliver projects on schedule and within budget; track purchase orders from execution through delivery to ensure timely completion. Vendor Partnerships: Create and nurture strong vendor partnerships; ensure quality compliance and timely deliveries. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams including Design, Construction, Finance, Operations, and Category Management to coordinate procurement activities and resolve project challenges. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve procurement obstacles quickly in a fast-paced environment; develop creative solutions to keep projects moving forward. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance procurement processes to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve stakeholder experience. Budget Management: Track and manage budgets across multiple sites and projects; optimize spending while maintaining quality standards. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and procedures. A day in the life As a Procurement Specialist on the WWRGD team, you"ll manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages. Your day includes joining OAC calls to align on project timelines, creating and reconciling budgets for financial accuracy, and conducting vendor meetings to strengthen partnerships. You"ll request and review quotes, process purchase orders and invoices, and redline plans to verify equipment specifications. Project management is central-tracking projects from kickoff through closeout while ensuring on-time, under-budget delivery. The fast-paced environment requires constant problem-solving to overcome obstacles and keep store openings on schedule.
