    Overview Join to apply for the Product and Market Development Manager role at The Beneva Group . Beneva Group has been engaged by a stable and growing manufacturer of electrical equipment to help find their next Product and Market Development Manager in the Northeast US area. Our client is a well-established partner in the industry with a strong reputation for customer focus and innovative products used in utility, renewable energy, data center, and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will pursue an aggressive growth strategy focused on operations transformation, manufacturing excellence, organic growth, and strategic acquisitions.Location: Northeast US. Some travel required to customers, partners and industry events.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop product roadmaps aligned with market and customer needs.Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to create robust market positioning strategies.Create business strategy and plan that creates sustainable competitive advantage.Translate strategy into actionable business plan with cross-functional alignment.Manage new product development pipeline to maintain a strong portfolio of profitable products.Proactively gauge business unit health and identify opportunities or risks.Execution and Operations ExcellenceMaintain unwavering focus on customer satisfaction and brand reputation for quality and innovation.Drive attainment to a 5-year growth plan.Plan to optimize product lines for competitiveness and efficiency while balancing quality requirements.Create, maintain and monitor key performance indicators for the business unit.Ensure Sales & Operations Planning aligns with organizational goals.Required QualificationsMinimum 8 years' experience in product management, strategy and/or business development.Deep experience with electrical utility or electrical industrial markets.Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration.Product line management experience, ideally in relevant technical fields.Proven commercial and leadership track record with significant customer exposure.Clear, strategic, independent thinker with vision and ability to execute on priorities.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to build relationships across functions.Preferred QualificationsMBA or advanced degree.Growth mindset and innovative thinking with continuous improvement applications.Genuine, trustworthy leader with ability to motivate and develop teams.Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.Track record of successful acquisitions or horizontal diversification.Additional informationThis is an opportunity to join a well-positioned company with strong market position and lead a business unit through transformative growth.
