    Product and Service Quality Manager

    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K) to join our Final Assembly Manufacturing Quality team in Everett, Washingtonon 2nd shift.

    As Product and Service Quality Manager on the Final Assembly Team (FAMBU) you will be part of a fast paced, highly collaborative business unit covering systems installation, final body join and/or final assembly. In this role you will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Leads employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations

    • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

    • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

    • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

    • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

    • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

    • Manages, develops and motivates employees

    Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selectin process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”

    • 3+ years of experience in aircraft assembly or inspection

    • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)

    • 3+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis

    • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking and reporting

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

    • 3+ years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems such as Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES)

    • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
