Product Compliance Coordinator (Remote, ET Hours) | Contract (3-6 Months)

LHH is seeking a Product Compliance Coordinator for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting our clients' global product compliance team. This position is ideal for candidates with strong research, data management, and Excel skills who enjoy investigating product information, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting regulatory compliance initiatives. The role will help manage a significant increase in compliance requests driven by new global regulatory requirements and will work closely with internal teams to gather, validate, and maintain critical product compliance data.

Employment Type: Contract (3-6 Months)

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00/hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

The Product Compliance Coordinator will support customer and regulatory compliance initiatives by researching products, materials, and components, maintaining compliance records, obtaining supplier documentation, and responding to customer compliance requests. This role combines compliance research, data analysis, and administrative coordination in a fast-paced environment supporting manufacturing and packaging-related products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage a shared compliance inbox and workflow queue.
• Review incoming customer compliance requests and determine required actions.
• Research products, materials, components, bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers, and supplier information.
• Utilize internal databases to validate product and compliance data.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain declarations, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Identify missing information, data discrepancies, and compliance gaps.
• Compile and maintain compliance records within internal systems and databases.
• Prepare customer responses using available regulatory and supplier information.
• Track requests through completion and ensure timely closure of workflow tasks.
• Support product, material, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Maintain organized documentation and audit-ready compliance records.

Qualifications

Required

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience working with:

• VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs

• Large datasets

• Multi-tab spreadsheets

• Data validation and analysis

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to independently research information and problem solve.

• Experience working in an administrative, operations, customer support, or data management environment.

Preferred

• Experience in:

• Product Compliance / Material Compliance / Regulatory Compliance / Environmental Compliance / Manufacturing / Packaging

• Familiarity with supplier documentation and technical product data.

• Knowledge of regulations such as:

• REACH / RoHS / TSCA / PPWR

• Other product or environmental compliance standards

• Experience supporting compliance, quality, regulatory, or supply chain functions.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
