Core responsibilities
- Modify existing product drawings to match project and customer requirements.
- Create and update detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Partner with project managers, drafters, and other teams to confirm feasibility and accuracy.
- Interpret customer requests and incorporate design changes while preserving design standards.
- Support engineering and production with well-structured, accurate documentation.
- Control drawing updates, revisions, and records from kickoff through release.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of design work in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation; comfort with 3D and general CAD workflows.
- Experience revising existing designs to align with customer specifications.
- High attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Associate/technical degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred (not required).
