POSITION: Product Content Specialist

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Data Syndication & Catalog Operations

• Manage end-to-end product data syndication via Salsify GDSN as per GS1 standards across major retail and wholesale partners.
• Maintain and optimize retailer syndication channels, ensuring attribute requirements, value changes, and updating assortments as current and accurate.
• Manage product data requests from customers outside of Salsify, including Kroger, Albertson’s PI, Syndigo, Sysco, Walmart, Kehe and other accounts via IX-ONE
• Lead retailer product list along with the Digital assets prior to syndication go-lives
• Own catalog mapping and retail assortment management across a large, complex SKU catalog
• Manage Product Content Requirement (PCR) syndication requests and ensure completion by required deadlines

·        Manage new and existing product photography using Orbitvu equipment

·        Manage new-product and existing product specs using Cubiscan equipment

• Create New UPCs and maintain product labels

Cross-Functional Partnership & Process Improvement

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve syndication errors quickly and systematically
• Determine seasonal offers by retailers and collect all required product attributes in coordination with PM and Sales teams
• Serve as a primary liaison with internal team on data infrastructure, integrations, and system improvement

Qualifications:

• Salsify experience is required — deep platform knowledge with ability to operate and optimize with product data for faster synchronization.

Relevant work experience in data syndication, or catalog management at scale

• Comfort working with large data sets and translating complexity into clean, actionable outputs
• Strong cross-functional communicator — experience working with digital assets, sales managers, external customer success manages and their teams regularly
• A natural problem-solver who proactively identifies issues before they escalate
• Experience managing retailer content portals and understanding retailer-specific attribution requirements
• Experience with content, data quality, or workflow automation preferred
• Background working within large CPG, wholesale, or multi-channel retail environments preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems and how product data flows across systems is a strong plus
