The Product Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling, accurate, and brand-aligned written content that supports product marketing, customer engagement, and sales initiatives. This role develops product descriptions, website copy, advertising content, email campaigns, and other marketing materials that communicate product value and enhance the customer experience.
The Product Copywriter collaborates closely with marketing, design, product, and e-commerce teams to produce high-quality content in a fully remote environment.
This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, persuasive, and engaging product copy for digital and print platforms
- Develop product descriptions, landing pages, email campaigns, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand product features and target audiences
- Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all content
- Conduct research to support product positioning and competitive differentiation
- Optimize content for SEO and digital marketing performance
- Edit and proofread copy for grammar, accuracy, and clarity
- Support content strategy initiatives and campaign development
- Assist with A/B testing and content performance optimization
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, or product marketing
- Strong portfolio showcasing product-focused or marketing copy
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and brand communication principles
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with content and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, WordPress, or HubSpot
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Experience collaborating with creative tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
- Background in e-commerce, SaaS, consumer products, retail, or technology industries
- Experience with conversion-focused copywriting is a plus
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range:$65,000 – $95,000 USD, depending on experience, portfolio quality, and industry expertise
- Additional compensation may include bonuses or performance incentives
