We are seeking an experienced Product and Data Strategy Lead to spearhead the product strategy for the Consent and Privacy Workstream for a leading U.S. Sports League. This role is critical in defining and executing the vision for a privacy-first, consent-driven data ecosystem that supports fan engagement, marketing, and digital product experiences. You will lead strategic initiatives to design scalable frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive innovation in consent data management across platforms. Your leadership will shape the roadmap for a customer-centric data platform that prioritizes trust, transparency, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Define and own the product strategy for consent and privacy data management, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements (GDPR, PIPEDA, etc.).
Develop and maintain the data strategy roadmap, ensuring seamless integration of consent data across marketing, CRM, data and digital engagement platforms.
Collaborate with digital and engineering teams to design scalable data architectures and pipelines that support consent-driven analytics and personalization.
Establish governance frameworks for consent data, ensuring compliance, data quality, and operational readiness.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Marketing, Product, Engineering) to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Monitor and optimize integrations between consent management platforms (e.g., OneTrust) and external systems (ESPs, CRMs, CDPs).
Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, advanced analytics, and privacy-enhancing technologies.
Lead Agile ceremonies and oversee delivery timelines, ensuring alignment between product vision and technical execution.
Provide thought leadership on emerging privacy regulations, consent management best practices, and data ethics.
Support enablement efforts by creating product collateral, presentations, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data strategy, product management, or data engineering leadership roles.
Proven expertise in consent management platforms (e.g., OneTrust) and privacy compliance frameworks (GDPR, PIPEDA).
Strong understanding of data architecture, integration patterns, and modern data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Redshift).
Familiarity with data transformation tools (DBT, SQL) and ability to guide technical teams on best practices.
Experience in Agile product delivery, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of privacy-enhancing technologies and emerging trends in data ethics and compliance.
