Salary Range: $40-50

Introduction

We are seeking a talented Apparel Color Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating seasonal color design and direction for basketball apparel, covering signature, branded, and licensed products. The ideal candidate will be an energetic participant in the creative process with excellent cross-functional communication skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong foundation and knowledge of textiles.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Degree in graphic design, fashion design, industrial design, apparel design, material design, textile design, or a related field preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to present to internal and external audiences.
• Experience with both footwear and apparel design.
• Passion for sports and ability to translate consumer insights into compelling narratives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the Basketball Apparel team in creating unique collections across Men's and Women's products on a seasonal basis.
• Develop comprehensive storytelling and original content creation across seasonal apparel assortments.
• Collaborate with Product Management teams to build engaging, trend-driven narratives for target consumers.
• Partner with Development teams to communicate design intent, assist with schematic creation, and review prototypes.
• Manage and design presentation materials and present concepts to teams and leadership.
