Type: Full-time, Contract

Job Description:
Apparel materials development on a seasonal basis, sportswear and lifestyle, base textiles, prints, and wash/dye. Working with product creation teams - designers, tech dev, product managers
This is NOT a design role; this role manages the technical aspect of Material Development

Desired Candidate Profile:

Minimum required years of experience: 3+ years in Materials Development
Education requirements: bachelor's or equivalent exp
Must have skills:
Technical side of Materials design, get a brief from design, testing and validation, and getting it set up in the system for production
Technical materials knowledge, including yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing techniques

Nice to have skills:

Past experience at a Fortune 500 retail brand
Has worked cross-functionally with product creation teams
Software/technical requirements:
PCX, Smartsheet, Miro
Previous client/industry experience preference: Yes
