This role is essential for upcoming projects, and we are looking for a skilled Pattern Maker - Sample Engineer to support our ambitious goals.

Location: Beaverton, OR (5 days onsite)

Salary Range: $50-60 per hour

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field (preferred). Additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5-10 years of patternmaking and/or sample sewing in the apparel industry, including the apparel development process from inception through production.
  • Expertise in patternmaking, sewing, and garment construction.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Optitex/Gerber, CLO/Browzwear, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD Pattern Design software is highly desired.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2.
  • Experience interpreting design intent and offering alternative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Prior work experience in the industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the studio team, design, and product development partners to execute product development and fit goals.
  • Engineer patterns specific to designer vision, cut, sew, and assemble samples at a premium level.
  • Participate in the apparel development process with the Product Creation teams.
  • Support team with SOP development.
