Product Design and Development - Production Artist 3

Introduction

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Artist to join our dynamic Design Production Art team. This role involves working on high-profile projects related to basketball signature athlete products, including apparel and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of experience in a design and/or production environment
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Suite
• Advanced understanding of graphic applications such as ink types and trim substrates
• Understanding of product lifecycle and key deliverables
• Expert-level listening, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to support and lead peers in new tools and ways of working
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while continuing to collaborate with the team
• Laser focus on the critical details that often get missed
• Ability to multi-task amidst competing priorities
• Curiosity for learning and building a strong design community
• Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO or Lotta) is preferred
• Understanding of Smartsheets, Airtable, and Miro is a plus
• Prior work experience in the client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with signature athletes and the fashion side of apparel
• Footwear and accessories production art experience
• Technical graphic design for apparel products

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Work on highly visible products across cut and sew and tees inspired by Signature Basketball Athletes
• Create and finalize graphic details across multiple levels of product
• Leverage 2D and 3D tools for production art meetings and alignment
• Create high-volume schematics and client-down product page creation
• Track and maintain updates on all appropriate files for accuracy through final approval
• Advocate for efficiencies in the product creation life cycle
