Salary Range: $44-45

Introduction

We are seeking a talented Production Artist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design and development of WNBA apparel graphics. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about sports and design.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of experience in a design and/or production environment
• Proficient knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite
• Advanced understanding of graphic applications such as ink types and trim substrates
• Understanding of product lifecycle and key deliverables
• Expert-level listening, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to support and lead peers in new tools and ways of working
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while continuing to collaborate with the team
• Laser focus on the critical details that often get missed
• Ability to multi-task amidst competing priorities
• Curiosity for learning and building a strong design community
• Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO or Lotta) is preferred
• Understanding of Smartsheets, Airtable, and Miro is a plus
• A love for sports is a bonus but a love for design is essential
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Licensed apparel, Visual systems experience, micro branding
• Experience or interest with basketball and WNBAI
• Experience working on cut and sew apparel and tee-shirts

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Work on highly visible Basketball WNBA product across cut and sew and tees
• Collaborate with Design to create and finalize graphic details across multiple levels of product
• Leverage 2D and 3D tools for production art meetings, high-volume schematic creation, and client-down product page creation
• Create documentation for downstream partners and review strike-offs
• Track and maintain updates on all appropriate files for accuracy through final approval
• Learn new tools and advocate for efficiencies in the product creation life cycle
