    Description

    Location: Sugar Land, Texas (onsite) - relocation package included (if needed)We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to support the development and execution of physical consumer products, with a strong focus on mechanical design, refinement, and production readiness.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the later stages of product development—translating concepts into manufacturable designs and ensuring products are optimized for production. You will play a key role in unblocking bottlenecks in the refinement phase and helping bring products successfully to market.Responsibilities Own the refinement and development phase of products, ensuring designs are ready for manufacturingTranslate early concepts into detailed CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawingsDrive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) effortsPartner closely with internal teams and external manufacturers to ensure production feasibility and qualitySupport prototyping, testing, and iteration to validate product performance and manufacturabilityCollaborate with suppliers and factories (including overseas partners) on tooling, materials, and production processesIdentify and resolve engineering challenges during development and pre-productionQualifications 3–7 years of experience in product development, mechanical design, or engineeringExperience working on physical consumer products (housewares, cookware, appliances, or similar)Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD software)Hands‑on experience with DFM / DFAExperience with manufacturing processesPreferred Qualifications Experience with housewares, cookware, or kitchen productsExperience working with overseas manufacturing partnersFamiliarity with prototyping and testing processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
