• Pay Rate: $76 - $100/ Hour

As a Product Design Engineer, you will demonstrate technical knowledge to deliver high-quality and reliable mass-production components (e.g., sheet metal, machining, anodization, injection molding, coatings, raw materials, packaging, thermals, FEA). You will own a user or consumer product design area, material, component, or system of moderate complexity and successfully deliver them through multiple milestones, applying engineering fundamentals, analyzing data, and implementing innovative component-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering fundamentals, analyze data, and implement findings to components and systems.

• Find and solve urgent, time-dependent issues quickly and efficiently.

• Proactively communicate progress and request feedback as needed.

• Anticipate, address, analyze, and validate product design issues or risks using appropriate data to implement improvements.

• Demonstrate engineering expertise through influence in at least one cross-functional area (e.g., RF, Antenna, EE, Sensor, Materials Science, Operations, CM Processes, Sustainability).

• Cultivate and influence a positive team culture.

• Design and deliver unique/innovative component-level solutions.

• Seek out and leverage senior mentorship.

• Own a product design area, material, component, or system of moderate complexity through multiple project milestones.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• Required Experience:2 to 4 years of AutoCAD experience

• Proficiency in:

  • Troubleshooting and failure analysis

  • Design expertise and systems thinking

  • Manufacturing processes and material properties knowledge

  • Product development lifecycle and product architecture

  • Engineering fundamentals and technical data analysis/synthesis

  • Cross-functional technologies and hardware systems/subsystems integration
