Be an integral part of a small and visible team of world-class Mechanical Engineers making Apple's first wearable product line. Define and design the future of WATCH. As a member of the WATCH design team, you will build the next generation of the worlds most advanced wearable device. You will work closely with cross-functional teams like Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Antenna, Reliability, Sensors, Environmental, and Marketing to bring future products to life. The WATCH Product Design team is responsible for all of the mechanical parts that make up the Watch in all sizes and materials, as well as the metal mesh, metal link, and rubber bracelets.
This position will require international travel (15%+). You will go beyond the industry norm and demonstrate creativity in problem solving, ability to think dynamically and outside of standard convention, and adapt quickly to new technical areas.
