Our client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Product Design Technician for their Cookeville, TN location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains specifications (drawings and models) of Client products per company, industry, national, and international standards, while positively impacting the organization's performance.
  • Ensures model and drawing quality.
  • Creates and maintains product specifications utilizing Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing.
  • Utilizes Computer Aided Design (CAD) data management tools for configuration control and to maintain security.
  • Ensures application of company, industry, national, and international standards.
  • Processes internal engineering work requests. Engages with required functional areas as needed.
  • Participate in the maintenance of standards and practices which ensure quality.
  • Participate in Drawing Quality Reviews.
 
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings (read and interrupt)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Detailed oriented and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to read and interrupt engineering drawings.
  • Ability to read and interrupt engineering test specifications.
  • Ability to process engineering releases.
  • General ability of Excel and office tools for data entry.
  • Detail oriented and critical thinking skills
  • High School Diploma
