Product Development Coordinator - Retail (Onsite New York, NY)
We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support the product development team through cross-functional coordination, sample tracking, cost analysis, and calendar management for our global retail client. This role serves as a key interface between Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Planning, and overseas sourcing teams to ensure product milestones are achieved on time.
This is a 40-hour per week, 6-month contract (extension possible), an onsite role in New York, NY.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Support the Product Development team and serve as the interface with cross-functional teams.
Enter, compile, and analyze costs for all product styles and identify cost discrepancies.
Support sampling processes by tracking concept samples and coordinating with mills and vendors to ensure on-time sample delivery.
Manage Time and Action calendars to ensure development milestones and deadlines are met.
Provide daily communication and coordination with overseas sourcing teams.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Design, Merchandising, and Planning teams.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience supporting product development within the apparel or retail industry.
Experience with cost entry, cost analysis, and identifying discrepancies.
Experience managing sample tracking and coordinating with mills and vendors.
Experience managing Time and Action calendars and meeting product development deadlines.
Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
Experience working with overseas sourcing teams.
